Alberto Iovane - in arte JAXJ

Alberto Iovane ( in arte JAXJ ) nel 2000 conclude la sua carriera professionale di economista per dedicarsi a tempo pieno alla scultura e alla pittura.

La sua attività artistica si svolge seguendo un percorso movimentato (dal Caos all'Ordine), espressione del proprio essere in divenire.

Nell' astratto trova il linguaggio a lui più vicino : l'arte per dare emozione deve staccarsi dalla figurazione (Kandinsky).

Nella sua ricerca realizza, nella fase iniziale, alcune prime opere rese dinamiche dal libero gesto istintivo (colate di resina su perspex). Successivamente la sua ricerca ha come fine l'indagine sulle qualità espressive della materia e realizza - su supporti in PVC, polistirene espanso, alluminio e vari altri - opere monocromatiche con resine, poliuretani, polietilene, smalti e altri materiali (informale).

Nel recente si discosta dal rigoroso paradigma dell'arte informale per avvicinarsi alla corrente dell'Astrattismo Geometrico e del Concretismo con la realizzazione, in una ottica minimalista, di forme-colore eseguite con tecniche miste e materie plastiche di varia tipologia (quadri-scultura).

Mostre: 2009 Polidarte Spoleto (personale) - 2010 Festival dei Due Mondi, Palazzo Mauri Spoleto (personale); 2010 Bruxelles Meeting Art e 2016 Galleria Christian Peugeot (collettive).

Risiede prevalentemente a Roma e si alterna frequentemente con Venezia, Spoleto e Parigi. Attualmente ha il suo atelier in Toscana (Monte Argentario ).

Alberto lovane (alias jaxi), lives in Rome for the most part and often lives in Venice, Paris, and Spoleto.
He currently has his own atelier in Tuscany ( Monte Argentario).

Since the year 2000 - once he ceased his professional activity as economist - he has been devoting his life to painting and sculpturing.

Jaxj artistic activity moves along a very lively and busy path ( from Chaos to Tidiness), that embodies his becoming and ever developing being.

Abstract is initially the language which is closer to his feelings: Art to give emotion must detach itself from Figuration (Kandinsky).

In his research, along in his early stage he made some works that became dynamic because of the free instinctive action ( castings of resins on perspex).

At a later stage his artistic research aimed at looking into the expressive qualities of matter and made monochromatic works using resins, polyethylene, polyurethane, syntethic enamel paint and other materials (informal).

in recent times, Jax artistic activity deviated from the paradigm of Informal art and then gradually got closer to the trend of Geometric Art an Concrete Art, by creating works that follow an accurate geometric pattern. He made shapes-colors art works by using mixed techniques and different kin of plastic materiais (painting-sculpture).
